U.S. Cancer Statistics Update 2014

Cancer is the second-leading cause of death in the United States (U.S.) after heart disease. It is estimated that in 2014 nearly 1.7 million people in the country will be diagnosed with cancer and that approximately 585,720 will die from the disease in the same year.
